Description
This is a live plant! Known commonly as both Bachelor’s Button and Mountain Cornflower, its rich blue, spidery flower heads are sure to bring vibrance to your garden. Blooms late Spring to early Summer, and again in late Summer. The foliage consists of silvery-green slender and pointed leaves. An absolute butterfly magnet, you can add these anyplace for a splash of color. Bachelor’s Button is incredibly easy to grow and comes back for years. GROWER TIP: We notice Bachelor’s Button leaves get incredibly droopy on very hot, bright and sunny days. For this reason we recommend an area with about 6 hours of direct sunlight per day, and the rest relatively shaded. See below for water, soil type and sun/shade recommendations.
Our plants are grown in 4.5″ pots, and ship with robust roots and foliage, ready to go right in the ground when they arrive. Each plant is professionally packaged to ensure safe transport and stay moist during transit.
