Description
This is a live plant! Cerastium Tomentosum, commonly called Snow in Summer, is a perennial groundcover that truly presents a display aligning directly to its common name. Cerastium plants are
perfect for deep borders and perennial hedges, copious white star shaped flowers blanket green foliage. When planted tightly together, one collective snowdrift display is achieved. It is considered a groundcover and will do fine in poor soils. Its hardiness zone is roughly 3-7. The nature of Snow in Summer is to spread, and it is commonly used to spill over rock walls. The same effect can be enjoyed in tubs and containers. Clip after blooms fade to maintain a neat presence and easily divide in the Fall. See below for water, soil type and sun/shade recommendations.
Our plants are grown in 4.5″ pots, and ship with robust roots and foliage, ready to go right in the ground when they arrive.
