Description
This is a live plant! Oenthera ‘Sundrop,’ commonly known as Missouri Evening Primrose, is a vigorous growing perennial plant. Trailing, reddish stems crawl outward from a loose clump. Large yellow classic primrose blossoms open up around or after dusk, and close back up as daylight arrives. Primrose grows in the prairies, so use these as a perennial groundcover in poor soils, or for a natural look in well-draining soils. Remove blossoms toward Fall to halt expansion. See below for water, soil type and sun/shade recommendations. Primrose is a great selection for beginner gardeners.
Our plants are grown in 4.5″ pots, and ship with robust roots and foliage, ready to go right in the ground when they arrive. Each plant is professionally packaged to ensure safe transport and stay moist during transit.
