Description
This is the flower that ends winter and announces Spring. Crocus Sieberi Tri-color is a species crocus – smaller and earlier than larger Dutch types. Often coming up through the last of the snow weeks before anything else in the yard is awake, they are a delightful and welcomed sight for sore eyes each season! Soft lilac petals with a golden throat, three or four inches tall, Sieberi Tri-color are a lovely and easy to grow addition to any Spring garden. You can also plant them directly into lawns to achieve a cottage garden effect. This variety does naturalize or multiply slowly over time.
